Thank you for using Palette Walk. This app is a color diary that helps you capture the colors of everyday life through photos. We take your privacy seriously, and this policy explains how your information is handled.

1. Information We Collect

Photos & Diary Entries (Stored Locally)
All photos you take or select, along with your color tags and daily entries, are stored only on your device. This data is never transmitted to or stored on any external server or cloud service.

Device Advertising Identifier (for ads)
Palette Walk uses Google AdMob to display ads. If you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads. If you decline, the app works just the same — you'll simply see non-personalized ads instead.

Ad Interaction Data
Google AdMob may record basic ad-related information, such as ad impressions and interactions. This data is managed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.

2. Device Permissions

Palette Walk may request the following permissions, each used only for its stated purpose:

• Camera — To take photos for your daily color entries
• Photo Library (read) — To select existing photos from your album
• Photo Library (write) — To save your color collages to your camera roll
• App Tracking Transparency (ATT) — To ask whether you'd like to see personalized ads (you can decline at any time)

We only use these permissions to provide the features you've requested, nothing more.

3. Third-Party Services

Palette Walk uses the following third-party service, which operates under its own privacy policy:

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Information may only be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• When required by law or a valid request from a government authority
• To protect the safety of users or the public
• With advertising partners (your advertising identifier only, and only if you have granted ATT permission)

5. Data Security

Because your diary data never leaves your device, it's protected by your device's built-in security. Ad-related data transmitted to Google is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.

6. Your Choices & Controls

• You can change or revoke tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• You can adjust camera and photo library access in iOS Settings → Palette Walk.
• Deleting the app will permanently remove all locally stored diary data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Palette Walk is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
